Anyone more than 4 yrs out from surgery and still having itching?

Hi!

I am desperately trying to find out what is going on with me.  I am 6 yrs post op from a panniculectomy and still have itching around the incision area.  My doctors can not determine why I am still having this issue and I have goggled and read many, many posts trying to find an answer.  I am have to use prescription strength ointment daily and this is one of the bothersome reasons why I wanted to have the surgery.  If there is anyone that can provide/share any information it would be so much appreciated.

I'm sorry I can't help you but I hope you get it resolved. My surgery is next week.

I haven't had ps done yet, but after 6 years my c-section incision still itches. Usually that means healing, but in this case it is probably just nerve damage, unless there is a rash there as well.
