Tingling Sensation after TT and Running

I had a TT in August of this year. Perfect recovery.

I ran yesterday and afterwards felt a tingling sensation where the scars are. I'm not overly concerned but it was a strange sensation. I was not wearing my compression garment.

Have others had the same feeling?

You'll get all sorts of little strange feelings for the first year and even beyond.  Mostly nerves reconnecting, I suspect.  As long as it's not painful, don't worry about it.

I agree with Emelar.  I am almost 10 years post TT and still get a random tingling sensation every now and then in my scar line.

Thank you for the responses. Just wanted to make sure it was normal. Also good to know that it can last quite some time.

It is pretty cool the sensation/lack of sensation in that area.

I get that same tingling feeling after running! I am wearing my compression garment, and I still get the same feeling.

Glad to know I am not the only one! :)  I had my TT in August as well.

I still wear my compression garment at night as I find by bed time I am very swollen from the horizontal scar up to my ribcage.

I wasn't planning on running (racing my son to the movie theatre door). I might wear it next time when I actually plan on running.

I got that from running as well. Thought I was bleeding through a healed scar. I think the blood rushing, along with the harsher movement does it. However, I just had a revision to my scar a week ago, and felt the same tingles....just doing nothing lol

Your nerves are still "recovering" and coming back. Probably nothing to worry about but as you mentioned, would recommend wearing support, especially when running.
