Looking for plastic surgeons in Washington, DC!

Hi OH friends - here is my first PS post and i am so excited!!! I have done all the research I could about the best plastic surgeons in DC but I thought I would ask here, to the people who truly know and may have experienced to share. I have my first consult in late October with a doctor who claims to specialize in body contouring after major weight loss. I am leaning towards a tummy tuck, arms, and breast lift AND implants. Anyway I wanted to just throw this out there in case anyone has an incredible experience with a DC based plastic surgeon.  Thanks! I've been lurking this board for months and I am just ecstatic to be able to start considering my procedures!

I obviously don't know any PS in DC, but how exciting to start this process!!!!  I hope you find a great surgeon, and keep us posted.  When I eventually get to plastics I think I'll need a TT, breast lift and arms too.  It's crazy to think about.  Anyways, just wanted to say good luck with the start of this journey!

If I decide to do plastics in two-three years, I keep thinking that Capella seems worth the drive.  Only 4 hours or so for us!

Hey Gwen - I have definitely considered it! I just don't know if I can face a 4 hour drive home after plastics. I found one woman in DC who specializes in post weight loss surgery supposedly. I am going to a consultation with her in a few weeks. I want to talk to a few doctors. My boobs are my main priority and then arms :)

I just had those three things done. They discourage an implant and lift at the same time after weight loss due to the condition of the skin.

I highly recommend the drive to Durham NC to Duke and talk to Dr. Erdmann. You can come stay with me - he specializes in post weight loss plastics. The consult is only $50.  Very reasonable prices.

I recommend you look at the American Society of Bariatric Plastic Surgeons website(www.ASBPS.org) for plastic surgeons with special interest in bariatric plastic surgery. We are all certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico is fantastic.  We have a group here on OH, click on Dr Sauceda in my siggy line. 

I had a lower body lift, breast lift, arms and sm thigh lift, and then a full neck & face lift including upper and lower eyes 4 days after my body work.  I was in Monterrey for 2 weeks. 

You are at the 24/7 clinic with nursing care until you can manage at the hotel.  While at the hotel, and RN comes daily to help you shower and get back into your garments.  Dr S visits most days also. 

Dr Andochick in Frederick MD is who I went to.  He did a tummy tuck, butt lift, and BA  and its been amaxing. the outcome is great scarring is minimal and I couldnt be happier
