Can't find enough information on choosing post-bariatric plastic surgeon.How did you decide?

There are several of us who have traveled to Monterrey Mexico to see Dr Sauceda.  We have our own group here on OH.  You can click on Dr Sauceda in my siggy line and it'll take you over to our group here.

I have heard great things about him. I would prefer to find someone closer to home but if I can't find someone I'm comfortable with then I may have to travel. I had a consult today and he wants to charge $35.331 for a tummy tuck, arms and breast lift! I think that's outrageous!

Take pics of your front, side, back, side with arms out in an "L"(right turn) and email to [email protected] with quote in the subject.  He'll get back to you in a few days with a quote.  He's on vacation, so it may take a few extra days.  That is way higher than Dr S will be.  Make sure the resolution doesn't make the picture size too big, or save off as a jpg.  If you are interested in neck/face get close ups.

I second (or third) the suggestion of Dr. Sauceda. I am two weeks post op. He did a wonderful job, his skills are amazing. I had LBL, LThigh, BL/BA, and AL. I am not an ethnocentric person (or at least I try not to be). Dr. Sauceda should be valued for his skills, not the country he chooses to practice in...I should add I had a wonderful experience while in Mexico and great care. P.S. I won't say specifics, but all procedures I listed were Well under your quote.

Houston is not that far. Dr. LoMonaco is amazing. I watched him on the show "Big Medicine years ago and knew he was the plastic surgeon for me. You need to find someone with experience dealing with post-bariatric patients.
