Home resting from arms and breast lifts
Hi all
had my final surgery yesterday. All in all going well, a bit sore of course (Percocet is helping with that)
got compression sleeves and bra on. They are ok form a comfort perspective. I am on the reclining couch with my circle of pillows, pretty much napping and watching TV.
My my hubby is my nurse, he is a Godsend even if he won't wear a naughty nurse outfit for me ;-)
i will post pics later, right now moving about and standing triggers a vagal vegus response so I need to minimize movement at the moment. So maybe next week.
One thing to note, although I haven't taken off the compression bra yet, when I looked down, I can see cleavage I never had before because the girls were so saggy before. So that is optimistic. Yay!
Sounds like all is well in your world and getting even better...heal well

Congratulations and woohoo! This is the exact same surgery I'm having at the end of next month - also my last. I'm thrilled to hear that you're doing so well. I think we can all handle sore. Hope the girls live up to their peek of cleavage. And your hubby really needs to man up and put on the naughty nurse outfit.
Hi
to answer your questions, this round cost about $9k. That was for a breast lift, no implants but extended to the "bra fat" area under my arm. Arm lift, elbow to just before my arm pit. And a minor scar revision on my abdomen from my lower body lift last year that healed a bit thick and bumpy. My doc took $1k off her normal fee though because it is my third procedure with her. I also had this done at a Surgi center which is less expensive than being checked into the hospital.
As far as recovery, I have been pretty good. In fact, this has been the easiest recovery for me. The least amount of pain meds and up and about the fastest. I had a LBL with inner thigh lipo last year. The loop was the worst part. I had a thigh lift in March. That one was rough. .VERY rough. In fact I still have swelling from that when it is humid. But as far as arms/girls go, I (knock wood) haven't had anything that would make me think that I should have separated these two procedures.
Hope that helps. But you may want to talk thru the docs suggestions with them more. They are the experts and each case is different.
