Lift or Reduction?

I'd like to hear from ladies how a lift affected the size of their breasts in a bra.  After pregnancy and weight gain  mine got to a 42j, after 103 pounds they are 38g.  Needless to say there is a TON of sag and extra skin.  I'm trying to figure out which surgery I need.  I'm not interested in implants, I'm just trying to figure out if my boobs would still be too big!  So any experiences without an implant would be great to hear!  Course I'm planning to go in for a few consults, just trying to get an idea.

I thought I didn't want implants either. The plastic surgeons I saw however said that a reduction and lift alone will not give me a shape that I would be happy with. I finally agreed and went for the smallest implants available. Or close to the smallest - 170 cc's - and I was a 36C in a normal bra and a 32DD in a Victoria Secret bra before surgery and after I have the same size but don't need the bras anymore! I still wear them but didn't have to change my bra wardrobe at all. Everything fits and nicely. And I have upper pole fullness and my breasts don't look like a ski slope. It will be interesting what you hear at your consults. Best of luck! After WLS the plastics was definitely the best decision!

I went from a 46DD to a floppy 40D with WLS, then had a lift with a reduction in my left breast to match my right.  I'm now a 38D.  I don't have upper pole, but can achieve with a push up bra.

If you have a lot of loose skin, that can be used to reform your breasts without implants. Implants only give you size but not any uplift. Go to our website, American Society of Bariatric Plastic Surgeons(www.ASBPS.org) for photos as well as my profile.
