when did you notice a change in measurement from your lower body light.

I am 5 weeks out and yes have some swelling still but my hip and waist measurement is bigger than prior surgery.

Hips  pre- 34 inches  now 37 inches

waist  36 inches now 38 inches.

(yep, I have always been and will always be a funky shape.  My waist loves those inches.)

I noticed a change right away. Even with the minor swelling I had, I had lost inches. My doc removed 13lbs of excess skin though.

Thanks for your reply.   I wish my swelling was minor.............  And, I can't imagine that the thigh lift next week is going to help.

Immediately after my lbl, my waist went from 27" to 31". At the 4 week mark it was back down to 28". It took another few months to lose that last inch (My measurements are the same now as they were pre-op).

Thanks,  ..........your comment helps, I was kind of freaking that my waist was going to be bigger even though I really know better but......                       I am thinking that the breast lift and implants 3 weeks after LBL didn't help and that the thigh lift next week is not going to help much with the swelling.

It took me several weeks to get back into my 33 and 34 pants that I wore pre-surgery.  I'm wearing them again (and some 32s) but my body shape changed quite a bit with the butt autoaugmentation.  I still think I'm swollen enough that I might see a further reduction in a few months (and if I get a few lbs off).  My weight has still not gone down to the extent I would have expected with a 15 lb tissue removal.  I tried my SCUBA wetsuit on this weekend and it looked 100% better than before surgery.  A little looser and if I lose another few lbs I may even need the next smaller size down.

You're stacking your procedures very closely (as did I although mine were spread out a bit more.)  so you must be more forgiving of the enormous stress your body is going through.   I had an lbl and while I saw immediate results the final post swelling took months.. And I didn't proceed with a brachioplasty with augmentation for six months.   Had a medial thigh two weeks after that.  How are your numbers.. Hematocrit, nutritional profile - your vitamin assays,  inflammatory proteins etc?   They are important things to monitor when your having so many surgeries so close together.   Be patient.... Your body is going through a great deal.   Susan

Thanks, Susan..........it is just hard when you try on your jeans and they don't button.  My labs are all great .........I am really working on good nutrient including lots of protein ................  I am having thigh lift in two days.  I am a bit nervous about recovery...........I have to go back to work 2 weeks after.
