Caring for yourself after LBL/BL
It is! It's sooooo worth it! It's also a mindfuck, too. Just throwing that out. Never had a body I wanted to put in a bikini, never thought of myself as hot, and I think it's way more confusing for me than just being thin because I don't have that constant reminder in the form of excess skin or saggy boobs to remind me that I was obese. Sure, I've got scars, but damn my tummy is flat, my boobs are perky and outstanding, and it's NUTS. I'm always here for you, luvvie :)
My EXTREME worry is that I will not be satisfied after the LBL. The area that bothers me the MOST is my inner thighs and I know the LBL will only help that a little. My surgeon showed me some pictures where there were even drastic changes in the inner thighs with the LBL but he says that doesn't happen for everyone. Getting a thigh lift scares the crap out of me and I feel like the scars are the ones that that would make me nuts. You could see them in shorts, a short dress or in a bathing suit. Dr. C suggests doing a thigh lift separately from LBL just to see if the LBL creates enough of a change that you no longer want the inner thigh lift. We shall see.
I SOOO wanna be hot too but I know it's going to mess with my head! LOL
And you, Miss.. are DEFINITELY a hottie with a body!
I hate my inner thighs. I refer to them as "drapes." I'm unsure why they took the worst hit, but I'm getting them done in August. Scars fade, and I'd rather have a slight peaking of a scar in short shorts than my drapes. Hahahah. I don't need a long incision to correct the issues, but the LBL didn't do anything for my inner thighs. However, it did completely address my other most hated area (the mons area). It is an amazing thing to be able to wear teeny tiny undies and feel sexy and NORMAL instead of trying to find something that will cover up your issues in that area. Anyways, you're a beautiful woman. If you want a little nip & tuck to feel hotter in less clothing, I'm all for it. Obviously.
I would DEFINITELY need the long line incision to the knees. That is what is making me crazy about it. UGH. I guess we shall see.. One thing at a time! I need to see updated pics of you!!
Look at those things!!!! hahhahahha sexy mama!!!!!
I'm COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS to plastics. 70 more to go!!! LOL
I also don't think I'll be satisfied without a thigh lift... or implants for that matter - both of which Dr. Capella does separately. But, I feel as though getting the LBL, BL, and Arm Lift at once will make me start to feel sort of normal again - I hope!!
