OK I had BR and AL on the 23rd . My dressing came off and I have used paper-tape on the suture line (seams) . its really irritating my skin and hurts like the dickens when It comes off . when I took it off for a shower today i noticed some separation under the left breast and the right underarm. How can i support it to help it heal , and go back together..? it dosent hurt bad but is weeping ..

If you haven't already, take a picture of the problem area and send it to your surgeon. How you treat it depends on what's causing it. Sometimes dry dressings, sometimes wet. Sometimes they want you to put antibiotics on it, or take antibiotics, sometimes not. It's usually not an emergency, but only your doc can say for sure.

I had several small places open up. My surgeon said it was normal. Take a picture with a coin next to it for comparison and send to your doctor.

It will not "go back together", per se, but mine healed within a week.

Thanks guys , I will do that . I have KT tape that I have used for other things ( that stuff is great) I was wondering if taping with the KT tape will help with the swelling and separation prevention..? any Opinions on that?

I would be concerned if it is dehiscence.
