What? It sounds like you need to get your life together before you use dating to "complete" you. I am single and do get male attention, but that is not what I need to be happy. Happiness comes from within. I have a great life. I have two wonderful children, a great job, I volunteer, and am an active part of my community. These things fulfill me. I do hope to meet a wonderful man someday, but that is not my main focus. Focus on improving your life. If you feel empty, volunteer and do things for other people. Find your happiness.

Hmmm. Maybe reframe in your mind why you had the surgery to begin with. Instead of it being about being attractive to the opposite sex, think about the reasons you did it for you. Think about how YOU feel when you see the new you. How it feels good to dress in a cute outfit, even if you are just staying home. When you pass a mirror and see that new body attached to your head and it gives you that little chill of satisfaction and joy.

For me at least is where the happiness about this journey comes from.
