Neck lift
I had my neck only done in 2006 ad revised for free in 2008. I felt this was the most painful of all my plastics, the stitches behind my ears drove me insane. It is worth it though. I could use my entire face done now as a near 50, but no one guesses my age so I guess I am good for now. Add me to see my plastics pics.
I had a face lift whi*****luded the neck in February. We did chat before hand about where the incisions would be more in terms of scarring. I was somewhat surprised at the amount of cutting that did go on given that the face is such a small area compared to other surgeries. It clearly is the more difficult one because of all of the things that they are cutting around and the need for it to look good since most of it is not hidden by clothing. I found it to be the least painful of my procedures yet the most uncomfortable. I also had a laser skin treatment so dealing with that was a real chore for the first 5 days of recovery. I would do it again in a heartbeat as I love my results.
I had a full neck/face lift including upper and lower eye lids. Surgery was about 7 hrs. The stitches behind the ears were very painful. I love my new face and neck! My eyes are more open too. I had my face lift 4 days after all my body work.

It probably is a good choice to start with your neck/face for that shows but I always recommend that patients do what concerns them most. Also, I can often combine different procedures safely and still as an outpatient. You may want to see which members of the American Society of Bariatric Plastic Surgeons are in your area. Also, don't forget about asking for insurance coverage which we always do to try and limit the patients costs!
I so know what you mean about the face. I was delighted to have finally lost 102 lbs in 8 months....but it came with a cost. Every morning I was greeted with this face that had hound dog jowls. It was killing me suddenly I had aged 40 years!!! This sent me on my quest for plastic surgery...Had it not been for the face I might still be on the fence about having plastic surgery.... Best decision I ever made!!!
