Anyone have a lot of "gurgling" within the ab area after abdominoplasty?

I haven't been able to eat much (VSG-size stomach anyway, and now 3 days post extended abdominoplasty). I've had quite a bit of swelling but am absolutely amazed at how it looks beneath the bandages.

Anyway, yesterday and over last night, I have been having the most ridiculous amount of gurgling. Some of it sounds normal, but a lot sounds like nothing I've ever before heard from myself. Sometimes it sounds like what you'd hear watching a program about scuba diving--the bubble sound when a diver exhales. Some sounds like what you'd hear trying to fill a 2-liter bottle full of water in a pool. Some if I can FEEL traveling through my intestines, but some of it feels like it's free within my abdomen and going from down to up instead of up to down.

Anyone? Just wondering. I have a call in to my doc for sanity's sake and an appointment with him on Monday already.

Thanks!

I don't recall any unusual noise, but it's probably just your innards waking back up from the anesthesia. If in doubt, call your doc!

hope everything else is going well.

Yes. I also had some weird movement that felt like a baby kicking. LOL as the feeling comes back, it's just odd.

I had the strange sounds and feeling like a baby kicking. I think it is because my tummy is so much tighter and there is 8 lbs of skin gone off of it so I can hear and feel things much better. LOL
