Swollen in all the wrong places
My booty was swollen after surgery and looked better than now. It's sort of not attractive now. Though I am glad he was able to put some fat in my cheeks, I wish he would have had more to work with.
My stomach is SWOLLEN. I mean like 3 months prego swollen. I've watched my salt intake, drank water and taken my diuretic at night like I'm supposed to. I still wear my compression garment 90% of the time. I take it off to shower and occasionally a few hours at night. I have been worried about stretching out my skin after the TT. I guess time will tell! I know my perfectly flat tummy is now poochy. LOL I also have a weird dent on my left side over my hip area.
Other than that nearly 7 weeks out, I am healing and feeling better. I am not working out yet, he told me to wait until 8-9 weeks out since I had so much done and my skin is prone to stretching. I'm fair so I scar well but my skin doesn't have much elasticity. I have 4 more months to see final results. I feel way thinner. I know it takes a lot longer to recover than I anticipated.
It has resulted in some personal issues. I feel more confident and take less BS than before. I guess it didn't really cause the issues but the new confidence is causing me to be stronger and take evaluation of things I used to just accept and resign myself to.
Def worth the effort and pain. Just make sure if you do a lot at once, you plan lots of recovery time and have lots of help. I cannot stress enough how important your mental state and attitude are when you're body is trying to heal from such a major stressor.
There is nothing unusual with your condition, all the things you have said are pretty common for after a plastic surgery and you will have to wait for 2 for complete recovery. It is always good to keep oneself informed about the recovery process of the surgery they are going to have. Also you must have done a proper background check about the surgeon and the clinic. Reading reviews of patients, accounts about how to prepare for the surgery, the recovery process of the surgery will all be beneficial. Some of the sites that ca be helpful are
