Thursday is the day!

I start my prep today for my Tummy Tuck, Abdominoplasty and Mons repair on Thursday. I have been instructed to take Citromag today to clean out my system but they didn't say anything about my diet after taking it. Anyone have to take this stuff? and what was your diet like after. Thanks in advance for any help.

You should call your surgeon's office and ask.  I just had to go NPO from midnight the night before surgery.  No Citromag for me!  My guess is that you'd do full liquids after doing a clean-out, but only your doc will know for sure.

Best of luck on your surgery.  Take your pain meds, gets lots of rest, take it slow!

I too was NPO only after midnight.  Some one else recently posted having to clean out prior to surgery.  I wish I had.  Call and ask.

I had to do a clean out the day before my VSG, wicked wicked stuff!!  I was able to eat normally just nothing after midnight.  My 2 week diet before my VSG was:

3 low calorie shakes
5 fruits & vegetables
1 lean meat or fish
1 cup of rice or pasta

But I did all protein shakes instead.

ETA, oops, just realized this information is irrelevant now!  Hope surgery went great!
