Spiral Thigh Lift and LBL with Dr. Agha. Questions about spiral thigh lift.

This is my first time posting, but I have read many posts and know that many of you have great information.
I am scheduled to have LBL and a spiral thigh lift in June with Dr. Agha. However, I am concerned about having the spiral thigh lift. I have read online that sometimes there can be mons pubis distortion and/or labia gaping. Has anyone heard of this or experienced this? I have also heard that sometimes the groin scars can migrate. Any truth to this? Would it help to have the LBL and the spiral thigh lift done at different times?

I would love to see pictures, but all the ones I can find of Dr. Agha's patients have their mons pubis area covered for privacy.

Thank you in advance for any information.

If you go to realself, you'll find people complaining about all the things you're talking about. I don't know how much of a risk they are.

my opinion, I'd do the surgeries separately. Otherwise you have pulling going on in opposing directions. The LBL lifts your mons and, if I understand the spiral lift, there are anchor points created in the pubic bone. Just sounds like too much activity in a sensitive area.

The reason you go to a specialist like Dr. Agha is becasue they KNOW how to prevent such complications such as labial distortion (labial spreading).  The danger is when you go to some yahoo plastic surgeon who does NOT routinely do these procedures.  IMHO you are in very good hands.

That is not necessarily true. I have read two detailed and serious complaints about Dr. Agha on this site and on RealSelf. No one is infallible.

Hi. I had a thigh lift in January and my pubic region does not look symmetrical however it's only been 12 weeks. I don't know about scars migrating but the left side is further in along the groin than the right side. I don't think it makes a difference if you have procedures together or separate. Let me just say the thigh lift made both the tummy tuck and original weight loss surgery seem like a cake walk!

That is unusual. Normally the TT is more painful because I put together the muscles that have separated because the fatty tissue surrounding the intestines was great and then lost. Every time you cough or move after this for some time, it hurts. The abdominal support as well as holding yourself in helps but not fully. I think maybe you had a "modified" TT with no muscle repair.

My thigh lift was easy the tummy tuck was much worse. Even the arms were worse than thighs.

Hi, Dr Silverman absolutely did tighten the muscles. The thighs were so painful due to a very large hematoma on the left groin that he aspirated three times but didn't get anything and finally at week 8 had to re-open to clean out. I was also getting yeast infections where the incisions were wrapped up to my buttocks. I think with the tummy tuck alone I would have been up and about a lot sooner, I basically sat in my lift recliner, in jammy pants and binding garment for eight weeks unable to do much of anything except make follow up appointments. Thank you for responding, it's nice to have another surgeon's insight.

I was so worried about labia spreading before my thigh lift. But my juicy bits are right where they should be after surgery!
