I had a lower body lift last June. Swelling had pretty much gone away, but randomly recently I have been swelling a lot in my stomach, especially after working out. Is it normal that it stopped and has suddenly started again?

Swelling goes on a lot longer than they lead you to believe.  It's totally possible you're still swelling, particularly after workouts.  And, for me, it does come and go.  I usually figure it's either a difference in what part of my body I'm exercising or what I'm eating, or a combination of both.

I've read here before that it is "normal" at the end of the day even several months after.
Some say eating too much salt causes swelling.
For me with all my weird complications, swelling did not feel like an issue bug that was probably because I knew to expect if do if it happened I wasn't concerned.

November was a year for me, and I STILL have swelling sometimes after boot camp.  Not all the time, just sometimes....I think when we do heavy core workouts...but it is gone by morning.

Just curious, but do you wear compression gear during your workouts?  If so, does it make a difference?

I tried wearing the compression garment several times.  No difference in the results.  Sometimes I'd swell, sometimes not.

Thanks for the reply.  The swelling is one of the things I guess you just have to experience eh?

Some folks get it worse than others.  Some barely swell, although I'd say they're in the minority.  All you can do is pray for mercy and enjoy the ride.

Same for me-and it was too dang hot and didn't make a difference! When I do swell it is gone by morning.

Thanks for the reply.  At least it is a temporary condition.
