best type of tummy tuck

Hi, after losing 110 lbs I am beginning my search for a abdominplasty or tummy tuck. I have no idea where to start. Are there any techniques better than others. I called one Doctor's office here in Montreal, Quebec who performs a mini-dissection abdominplasty where he doesn't use a general anesthesia rather local and uses threads to pull the abdominal muscles. Have any of you's ever heard of this? What are the different types of techniques and what do u think is most effective? Also, what is the fleur de l'yse?

Thx!

Hi!  Fleur de l'yse in my neck of the woods is known as an anchor cut, which is what I had done.  In addition to the horizontal  cut I also have a vertical cut right up the middle.  There are some pictures in my profile.  The scar was an acceptable trade off- lots of extra skin there that wasn't going away without it.   Flat tummy and no muffin shenanigans anywhere.  I can't imagine having abdominplasty under local anesthesia- especially with muscle tightening of any kind.  Keep researching and be sure you are comfortable on all levels before you commit- knowledge  is power and peace of mind.  Good luck.

Go consult with multiple surgeons and have them explain all your options and what they recommend for you. What you need depends a lot on your skin composition, how you carry your weight, and what you can afford.

There are many different variations of a TT and which one I would use depends upon where the excess skin is and whi*****isions will remove the most. Also, I do a pubic lift with almost all of my TT.
