I went in this morning, I had an anchor cut TT on July 24th. And my right side healed wrong and was slightly puckered, I did not have a TT all the way around so that happens sometimes. And my incision opened at the T so it was puckered after it healed.
I went in and the part that killed me was the numbing shots! But after that it was smooth sailing a small amount of tissue removed from each portion and he stitched me up and gave me a binder and I feel good.
My husband watched the whole thing and was quite impress wand thinks all my issues will be resolved.

I am glad it went so well for you. I am anticipating getting in-office procedure in March and I am wondering if it is painful or anxiety-provoking to see someone incising your body. At the same time, I am fascinated by the idea of being able to see it. I owuld have loved a video of my plastic surgery!

You are braver than me. My husband watched the whole thing, and kept a conversation going between all of us just to occupy my time. The part where he had to cut the scar tissue I could hear the scissors and it was messing with my head, it did not hurt but I could kind of feel the scalpel going through the layers of skin. The front "T" was still kind of numb from the original surgery but the side was not.
Thus morning my side hurts about a 4/5. I am happy to have the side fixed it will not have the gather or bit of skin above and will be flat like the other side. Also my front area will be super flat and he trimmed a bit off my mons so that will look good also. The biggest difference in pain is I have a burning sensation that I did not have from the first surgery. I assume because the first surgery they burn it off and this time it was all cut/sliced.
Overall I am happy he was able to do it in office. I will never be perfect but these little things that bothered me should be resolved.

How long did it take?
Did he give you anything for pain other than the local?
I am rather amazed at what they do in their office under local. There is a woman on RealSelf who had a few pounds of skin removed from her arms under local in the PS's office. As for me, I am considering having my nipples moved. THAT should be an interesting experience??? Burning nipples...
I am happy that they can do these procedures in the office, too, every time I think about how much I had to pay for OR and anesthesia!!! It adds 50% or more to the bill. I had a tweak done to my TT and mons, too, but in the OR during my stage 2 surgery. And it really did make such an impactful difference. Those areas looked great after my TT and mons lift, but wow, after the LBL conversion and thigh lift, those areas just look so spectacular. I am thrilled.
No one is perfect. Maybe 2% of women who are super models are perfect. Good for them. But the average American woman weighs 165 pounds, is 5'4" tall, and has a waist circumference of 39.7"! So by American standards we have damn good bodies! Ain't that something? Think about it. We formerly obese who go through WLS and PS are now some of the most attractive women in the country!
Enjoy your beautiful super flat tummy and tight mons!

Total probably close to 2 hours, it took around 20 mins for the injections of numbing meds, he gave me nothing else besides thoes but said I could take whatever I wanted before the procedure, so I took a left over pain pill from my TT. I did really well makes me want to ask what else can be done in office. I think most dont do too well awake. i willl take pictures soon..

Thanks. I had no idea it would take thwt long. I am speaking with Dr. Capella next week and will ask him how long mine will take. I just thought it would be quick. So these may strike you as odd questions but I am wondering if the doctor wears his scrubs and mask, if you wore a surgical gown or your clothes or nothing, and if you wear allowed to drive yourself afterwards?
I took a Valium 5mg in the morning if the procedure but seeing as I did not know exactly when I was going in, I took another Valium at noon. I was alone but when j was in the operating room of the Day Surgery there were two ps that worked on me and as they knew me from my previous hospitalizations, we talked and joked in-between my exclamations of "ouches" which they were also used to so I needed more anesthetic injection than others. Thank GD the follow-up clinic visits my HMO did cover.

Oh and I did not look on purpose in fact if I gad to do it again I would have brought a book/magazine. I did have to stay mindful if my anxiety during the procedure so my mind did not take over! Luckily I am fully aware of my craziness!
