Fleur-de-lis Tummy Tuck

I had my first consult with a plastic surgeon today. He suggested the fleur-de-lis tummy tuck for me. I'd love to hear from others who have had this type of TT done and how it went for them. Specifically healing time/pain/scar/etc.

Any info is appreciated!

HI-  If you scroll down in this forum to Jan 15- Tummy tuck pictures, you can see some I posted of mine- about 8 weeks out.  Recovery time- about 2 weeks before returning to work (teacher)- I am very happy with minimal scaring- have not had any swelling to speak of, drain came out in a week- pain was minimal compared to what I thought it would be-  I think I was very fortunate in my experience.  I wish as well for you!  Good luck- you will love the flat tummy!!!

I had mine July 24 and it was extremely painful, they removed 10 lbs and it took me a month to feel some what normal. The emotions were worse. I am much better now, I just got back from a small in office revision. My swelling was not too bad but the scars are but with a anchor cut you expect that. Good luc!

Miss 150: I really appreciate your reply as I'm also a teacher and worried about how much time I'd be off. I'm off in search of your pics!

I had the anchor done in September.  No problems at all.  I worked at home for two weeks and then went back, I have a desk job.  Pain wasn't bad at all, just keep on schedule with your pain meds, don't deviate from that schedule.  My scar is a very fine line, looks like it was drawn on.  It's already starting to fade.  Very happy with it.

Hi I had a fleur de lys TT 3 years ago, I never really had any pain, they cut off a lot of nerve endings with the skin, never had pain with arms or breast lift either.  Im having my thighs lifted on Tuesday next week.... lets see how that one goes.  Good luck, do it and dont ever look back.  You will be so happy in the long run.
