Time between goal and plastics?
I hit goal in December and am maintaining well. I'm a HUGE planner and have some scheduling constraints this year, so I went ahead and did some consultations in Dec/Jan. After some long discussions with my husband, I just scheduled a lbl and ba for June 4 since that was literally THE date I needed to be able to do ps in 2014.
I'm just wondering--how long do most people wait after goal for ps? Am I too early to the party (the one scheduled for June 4)?
goal 8/13- Extended TT 11/13. Scheduled for arm lift 3/14. I'm 59 and figure there wasn't much,if any "bounce back" to be had in my case, so might as well go on ahead... PS want your weight stable----

The surgery practices I have spoken with via phone want you at goal with no more than 5 lb variance for 6 months. Two of them won't even see me until I am 4 months of maintenance weight.
So June sounds like you'll be going right on schedule if you maintained from Dec to June.

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
Most surgeons want their patients to be at a stable weight for at least 6 months, so it sounds like you are good. I had my arms done as soon as I got to goal. I hated the old lady arms. I waited another 18 months to get my lbl/bl. Partially doe to finances, but I also wanted to make sure I could maintain my weight. I did not want to mess up my results!!
