In all fairness Capella did not push the LBL. He just said it was a more powerful surgery and could address several concerns at once. He agreed with my local PS that I don't need arms done or anything else and agreed that I don't need implants, just a lift for the breasts. So they were very much on the same page and it was a toss up between the TT and LBL.
Okay, that's better. I had the feeling one was pushing for the LBL while the other was telling you - you don't need it. If you're butt is saggy, I would advise do the LBL. It can cause your butt to become concave - a LBL tends to do that so that is why many who have the LBL have a butt augmentation at the same time. I had an augmentation with mine.

It really depends whether or not you have some padding left - if you don't and it's mostly skin, the skin is lifted and you have a flat or concave bottom. It's a common problem with LBL's.

No, I still have plenty of padding. It just sags a tiny little bit just at the bottom where the cheeks go into the thighs. There is like a double chin effect there if you know what I mean. Otherwise I see my butt as just fine in terms of size, just could be sitting a touch higher.
A LBL doesn't do much for that lower cheek sag. Ask your surgeon to send you pics of his other LBL's and see what they look like. He may be able to achieve a little lift in the lower cheek, but that would mean he is pulling it pretty tight. The tighter you pull it, the higher risk for wound openings. The girl with the bad complications from that surgeon said her arm was pulled ultra tight. All those things need to be considered.

As someone who had a great experience with the VSG and healing and then not a great experience with the PS. I would definitely say you want your surgeon close by. I was considering going far away to have my work done and something kept niggling at me saying you should get done close to home just in case. Well thank God for the just in case gut feeling. I had internal bleeding that required a second surgery and now I have an opening at the bottom of the T in my TT and am going in next week for more surgery to close it up so if I were you I would stick close to your home PS.
Personally, if money were no object, I would go to the best surgeon. But I guess I am vain and wanted to look my best. It was not just about removing the skin. I wanted to look amazing.
Thankfully I live near one of the best so this was not an issue for me.

Money is not an issue. Insurance covers it all no matter where or with which surgeon I do the plastics. I just have to cover the flight and hotel and the food etc. Problem is...I don't have a feeling about who is the 'best'. I was dead sure of my choice for the VSG but now...not so much. Who was yours? I also want to look amazing but I worry about the perfect becoming the enemy of the good...I want to be in a position to be able to follow up adequately as well.
