How long before swelling resolved? TT

I am nearly 6 month out of an anchor cut TT and I would say at least 2/3 months before I could get into my old clothes and 4 months out I as down a size where I stay today. They removed 10lbs skin from my front (did not go all the way around) but like you I suffered from depression, and to this day do not think I would do it all over again. I have to have an in office revision to fix some puckering on my right side and I am not looking forward to doing anything else! I was going to go back and have my BA but I have always been on the fence about it, and will probably not do it now.
Good luck.

I applaud your reflection. I don't mean to be discouraging to everyone, but I really think sometimes the BA is really pushed. And especially for those of us who have lost a lot of weight, plastics seem like a normal progression. I'm very happy with my TT as of now (granted, I cannot see the scar yet, it's taped, and I would have preferred to never have been overweight), but I definitely regret the BA. One of the things I realized is I've been putting off being happy with my body until the next surgery. I wish that more of us spent time on getting right mentally instead of just trying to correct the physical things. That's my .02 anyhow.

I completely understand, I wish they made me see a physiologist before plastics like before WLS. I still see the fat me, and no instead of all the extra skin I just feel wide...
My 2014 goal is to finish loosing around 15 lbs and then fully focus on appreciating my body and what I have put it through! (WLS, 3 babies, Plastics...)

I'm 6 months post op and still in yoga pants 99% of the time. They are just so much more comfortable. I have pain along TT scar so soft and stretch is better. I gained 10 lbs, but now have tracked my food in the last couple of weeks, and lost 5 of it. I can squeeze into my dress slacks from pre-op but definitely not my jeans yet. I still swell up at night and after exercise. I think that the majority of swelling has resolved though.
So don't be discouraged. Some lucky ones are back in regular clothes with hardly any swelling, most others are not, I think, for some time.
