Unless you have a extra high toilet the 7" is what fits most bathrooms.  You might be able to come up with something like a waste can that would be stored under the sink when you are not using it.

Thanks I'll keep the bin idea in mind.

I never heard of a squatty potty but I keep my stool on the side next to my toilet.
Tell the hubby you need a stool to help get the stool out of you!
I wish sometimes I had constipation but my RnY causes me frequent toilet visits and even after all these years (my RnY was 3 Feb,'08) I still go 2-3 times in the morning and 1-2 times in the evening. And the old bariatric DS adage of TMI "is a fart a fart or a shart" is all too common with my body as even this past Saturday I had a toilet accident disaster and had to take a shower immediately.

Yes, hard to know which worse. I had frequent BMs early out, but since I'm on iron and so much calcium it's a whole different situation.

At the hospital they gave me fig syrup three times a day. It was yummy. Had a BM 3rd day post op. It was really just fine. No straining. Been regular ever since as always. There is no pain for me at all here. Coughing and sneezing on the other hand....hell on wheels.

I can imagine that coughing and sneezing are bad... heck, they hurt with my laparoscopic bariatric surgery.
