What is a good (easy) way to remove the residue from adhesive tape?  I've got some on my arm from the IV I'd like to get rid of.

Thanks :)

Mine came off with dial soap and a wash cloth.  I was so particular in the beginning and went to see my PS for my one week check up and he proceeded to clean off the residue and remove my scabs that I was protecting.  He said that the scabs will make the incision line wider if you do not remove them.  I guess he was right because I have thin scar lines.  But, lather up the washcloth with the dial and it will come off.

Best thing to use is rubbing alcohol. I used those little alcohol pads. Learned this trick at the Dr. Office. It works!

I've used Vaseline or baby oil in the past, but I'll try the Dial soap when the time comes, since it's antibacterial.

You can actually buy adhesive tape removal pads on amazon or ask your PS for some.  I had to have one of my drains in a delicate spot taped in because the stitch popped.  The nurse used the removal pads to take the tape off.
