I had mine done on 2 Dec 13 and not really any pain except for when I go to massage the incisions and only on the lower part of my upper arm the incisions are pretty much flat now except again closer to the elbow. I think that will be flatter to within the next few days improving all the time. I am wearing my compression sleeves pretty much 24 hrs a day and will continue for another week and then slowly decrease. I think I will wear them to sleep though just for the support.  I can curl my hair and everything not problems there, my surgeon said when you feel the pull on the incision stop and don't reach any further. No lifting anything more than 1 lb for two weeks and then 2 lbs for two weeks, no vacuming, no sweeping, no pushing shopping carts etc. Good Luck

Dr Ponce de Leon Mexico     VSG 4 Jun 12. I lost 57 lbs on my own before having a VSG. This is by far the best thing I have ever done for myself.
