I had a lower body lift about 9 months ago. My PS as went ahead and added some fat into my butt. Nine months later I start to experience pain on my back incision and started to notice that it was becoming like a blister. The other day I was showering and it happen to pop and all this fluid was coming out of it. It seems to me as if its fluid my body is rejecting from the surgery. I am taking some antibiotics to avoid infections however I do have an open wound now and it looks pretty big. Has anyone experience such thing?  I am putting the cream my PS surgeon gave me when I first had the surgery for open wounds and covering it up. It just seem so far out since surgery for this to happen now. Please share with me if you have had this happen to you. Thanks!

Take a pic and send it to your surgeon. Your body shouldn't be rejecting your own fat!  But you could be having a reaction to a dissolvable stitch. Some of them take up to a year to dissolve.

I have not heard of that so far out from surgery - but please do keep us posted to see what your surgeon says!
