compression garments
This is the garment that I have. https://www.marenagroup.com/comfortwear/product/comfortwear/female-vest-medium-sleeves-without-seams.html
I have 2 of them. I believe I have a size large. I purchased both of them new. I do not anticipate needing them again - so I would be willing to sell them if the size is right. I don't have them in front of me but I believe they are pretty clean. They were laundered daily for about 6 weeks. I know that there is a magic marker stain on the shoulder of one of them - the recovery nurse saw blood on it and was conceerned that I was still bleeding. So she circled the stain to see if it grew any bigger - smart move on her part but I was fine at that point. I managed to get the blood stain out but the marker is another story. Let me know if you are interested.

Are you sure that you need a 3x - something doesnt sound right. I bought a large - cant remember my measurements. But I am now in large tops. Perhaps you should chat with the ps on where he thinks you will be after surgery. Does you have an email address that you can email him? I would hate for you to buy something that wont give you the compression that you need and then you will start swelling right away.
But I assume that he is going to do lipo at least if not large volume lipo right? And then remove a pile of skin right? It is really the after surgery arm that you want the compression on. Not the arm that you have now. If you have an opportunity to discuss this with him, that would be the best. But you need to make an educated guess on where you will be - not where you are now. Look at the other measurements for that size. Is your bust a 47 to 51? Do the other measurements for a 3xl fit you? Or do the other measurements put you in a smaller size and he is going to bring your arms in line with the rest of your body? I would feel more comfortable with using the other measurements if my arms really sent me to a much larger size. Just my two cents. Can you maybe email me a picture of you? Perhaps seeing a picture might give me a better idea of what you are dealing with.
This is actually the garment that I have: https://marenagroup.com/comfortwear/product/comfortwear/female-vest-long-sleeves.html
Sorry for the mistake. The marena group has revamped their site and it appears that my account was clobbered. I can't find any of my previous orders. But I know that mine had long sleeves. The PS wanted to make sure that I had no forearm swelling - so he wanted me to get one that went all of the way down to the wrist.

Well, the 38 under bust puts you at a 2xl - I wouldn't go any higher than that; the 43 at the bust puts you potentially at an xl but it appears the 2xl would work as well. Is the incision going to come down on the side of your bust? Any lipo in this area? or in the back? If the answer to those questions is yes, then I personally would go with the xl; if not, then I would go with the 2xl. What you can do is order 1 of each and see which fits around your body better. The arms will be tight but they are going to shrink with the bracho, so I wouldn't be too concerned about that. Then send the other back and order the size of the one that you kept. You could call them and explain the dilemma and see what they say. I did read where there was someone who did that, the size they recommended wasn't right so they allowed the return even though the garment was soiled. Given what I know at this point, this is the best that I can recommend. Obviously its your decision which way you want to go. I would only caution you that you do want to make sure that it does fit snug as you want to make sure that you get compression on your new smaller biceps.
