Glad to hear my words were encouragement to you.  I am still continuing to heal with no issues.  There were a couple of warm days about a month ago and I wore a short sleeved shirt to work and no one commented about my scars.  The folks that work for me are not shy about it as I am not bothered discussing my PS procedures so I suspect everyone just forgot about it and didn't notice the scars.  Kinda nice that it happened that way.  I have also worn short sleeves to the gym where I am obviously lifting my arms over my head and haven't noticed any funny looks.  This truly was the easiest to recover from and I am so glad that I had it done.  I am just shy of 3 months out and don't really think I need any revision.  Good luck to you.

I had complications at 2 weeks post op and 3 weeks post op. I am 5 weeks post op and still healing. ETA is 6 weeks post op for me to be healed. My swelling is not too bad and I do not have CG or drains. Yes it is worth the pain and down time. I don't want my whole body looking great and have bat wing arms. And the pain is not as bad as you are probably building it up to be. I was afraid of my arms opening up and when they did it was more of a nuisance than it was painful. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't tickle, just wasn't as bad as I had made it out to be in my mind.

if you do not want to open up then do not use your arms at all for anything for 3 weeks.

Of the three things I had done my arms were the easiest, no swelling, no drains, I think I had my surgery and was on my way home in less then 4 hrs and that included a revision to my neck lift.  It was totally worth it to wear tank tops and feel comfortable.  I was lugging a 50 lb suitcase through O'Hare a month after my surgery for a business trip.

Did you use your arms the first 3 weeks? All Dr. Capella's brachio patients that I know had their axillas open except for the woman who did not use her arms.

This is making me feel better, too!
