thigh lift results - how much weight did you lose from surgery
so far so good on bilateral thigh lift. pain meds every 4 hours - I don't have any drains and still have everything wrapped. I will get it till tomorrow morning (Just over 24 hours) for a shower. Up and walking - especially to get my coffee that i mssed so much. Definitely feeling swollen. I took pictures right before we left and weighed myself too. How soon do you think swelling goes down?
Well, everyone is a little different... I did not swell in my thighs at all for a few weeks. But I have been swollen for probably two weeks now... It is worse at night but even during the day they are swollen. Dr. Capella told me that at 3-mos post op about 90% of the swelling will be resolved.
I wrapped a binder rand my right leg to go walking in the woods. It made it feel like it would not explode. If I walk too much the right thigh does get painful.
So glad it's going well for you so far. The day after my surgery is when I had the most pain. But after that my pain went down fast. Lucky you that you don't have drains. Mine come out Tuesday. They are not bad but I can't shower. Took a good "sponge" bath this evening and washed my compression garment. It feels so good knowing I'm clean and in clean clothes! I have no pain, can bend down etc. My only complaint is the area under my incisions is hard and feels like they have been given a dose of novocaine. Guess that's to be expected but feels really weird. Maybe it's the swelling on the inside, but I have not noticed swelling on the outside, just the bruising.
Keep up the walking and keep us posted on your progress!

It depends on how much weight you carry in your thighs. For most people, not much weight is removed by plastic surgery. For my lower body lift, I had two square feet of skin removed, but it only weighed 5 pounds.
