thigh lift results - how much weight did you lose from surgery
from the age 9 I was overweight (now 49 turning 50 in May) - I had a father that I could always tell he was embarrassed by me and one brother. He would tell us to go run around the field and tell us how many laps we had to do and not the other 2 siblings. I got older and dropped some weight on my own - probably 225 to 170 at the age of 24 - met my husband married him. Dating and eating out - weight creeped on got pregnant and went up to 297. I***** I did the stomach surgery but put weight back on back up 279 and In 2006 - my sister and I joined weigh****chers lost 100 lbs in about 1 1/2 years and maintained it +- 15 pounds and then in 2011 kicked in gear to fini**** so I been at 146 for the last few months. I eat alot healthier now - can't tell you how many years since it been I had fast food. I look forward to turning 50 I figure I am gonna be the best 50 I can be. I look back at photos and it like that is another person. I had one classmate did not recognize me and said I am the most change classmate. I feel good and will be over the top one I have the thigh lift. It kills me when I hear people make fun of people overweight and I usually will say something - been there and I know their struggles. T
Great post!
I'm having a consult next month...the 8th or 9th consult...I've lost count...but I think this one is going to work.
Actually, I kind of like the ability to be "incognito". It can work to your advantage at times! ;-)
I was almost one year out when I turned 50...and had lost a little over 200 pounds by then. I had a portrait made one year to the day that I had my DS surgery..2/25/2009.
I've been told that the weight loss from skin removal is not all that much...maybe 10-12 pounds at the most. I can't imagine mine being that small of a loss though...I've got a lot of skin.
I guess this is one of thoe YMMV (your mileage may vary) issues.
I'm in a crotchless compression garment and using a big red solo cup to pee in (they have so many good uses!) I'm worried about the back end, since I don't want to mess up the garment. Guess I'll cross that bridge when I need to. I do have a raised toilet seat (my 91 year old mom lives with me). Will let you know how that goes.
Thanks for the wishes. Surgery went well and as of now, I'm pretty comfortable. I posted some before pics in another post. Don't know if you saw. Looking forward to see my results!
