Help...I get the willies whenever I touch my incisions!

I had an open hernia repair, anchor tummy tuck, breast lift, and arm lift 12 days ago. I'm not sure if anyone experiences this, but it gives me the willies to touch my incisions (like the heebie jeebies when fingernails go down the chalkboard). A shower feels great but I have a hard time touching my incisions to wash them. I don't like how they feel to my fingers (ropey and rough and gnarled) or how my incisions feel when they are touched (numb, tingly, over sensitive). And tomorrow I'm supposed to remove the tape from my TT incisions and the glue around my breast incisions. I'm not sure how to proceed when I hate the feel! Then again, I don't eat peaches because peach fuzz gives me the willies. Has anyone else experienced this? Is if just a matter of time?

When my areola opened I got nausea and needed someone with my when I took a shower so I wouldn't puke. I took daily pics after my shower and now more the a year later I am proud of my mango boobies.

I could not bear to be touched on my tummy after my abdominoplasty and it took along time before it did not feel so freakishly odd to touch myself or be touched. It sounds similar to what you are going through. 

They did not give me the willies but I was so careful not to rub the scabs to hard in the shower.  When I went to the PS he immediately started picking the scabs off and cleaning around the incision lines.  He said the longer the scabs stayed on the wider the scar would be.  He wanted me to scrub with a washcloth over my incisions daily which would remove the scabs and soften the ropeness of the incisions and make them lay flat.  I guess he was right, I have thin lines everywhere except two areas on my hips that had a larger scab on them.  They are about twice the size as the thin lines are.  I still don't have feeling in my belly button area yet.  That is weird feeling.  All my incision lines are smooth feeling to the touch except one small knot on my left hip about the size of a raisin.  Everything else is great!
