Thigh Lift and intimacy

I'm considering a thigh lift because I feel so uncomfortable when I wear dresses or my swimsuit.  I'm single and I fear being intimate with a man because of how bad my legs look.  I guess I'm wondering how will I feel about people seeing my legs after getting them done.  How will men react in an intimate setting?

Thank you.

I have been married for a very long time.  I had my thighs done a year ago.  I love my new thighs.  I hated my old thighs.  I no longer feel self conscious about wearing shorts.   I can now see the muscles in my legs - it is a wonderful thing.  As for my husband, he had gotten used to my large thighs.  But even he says that I look much better with the smaller thighs even with the scar.  Your issue will be that they have not necessarily known you when you had larger thighs  So the scar will probably be something they are not used to seeing.  I would think you can cover that in a conversation.  Once the scar is healed, it is not bad to look at and really needs no special care so it should not be a problem.  And your partner should be more focused on other areas of your body anyway.  I believe he will react to it based on how good you feel about it.  If it makes you a better partner because now you are not embarrassed by your body,  he should be good with it.  You will be able to relax and enjoy each other more rather than covering yourself up.  Enjoy yourself.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me. I sure feel better about moving forward with this process. I just got home from dress shopping and was feeling defeated because there were so many nice dresses but they were all shorter than what I'm comfortable wearing due to my legs. After reading your message. ....HELL yeah I'm getting my legs done!!!!!

I have scars on my arms, breasts, hips (LBL), inside groin thigh lift.  Didn't seem to matter.  Now I have one across my back from my UBL.  As others have said, having the loose skin gone and having scars is preferrable.

I worry about intimacy if I were to get my thighs done, too, but from a different point of view. Scars do not bother me. Let's just say I am very limber and our sex life is amazing because of that. I worry that if the incisions were pulled too tight I would not be able to do the things I can do now...

Anyone have any insight on that????

You will have to take it easy a few months...a year after medial thigh lift I have no "limber" problems! My only bummer has been total loss of sensation at the incisions.

Thanks. Still in the thinking phase. I am content with my legs "as-is" for now.
