Anybody go through Go Sculptura Dominican Republic for Plastics?

I recently had a face and neck lift and lipostructure in my cheeks. I went to Dominican Republic because they have some good clinics and the cost is half of what is charged in the US. Gosculptura gave me a great deal, and took such a good care of me.

I met my personal assistant Dorca upon landing. She was so courteous and dropped me to my hotel. Next she took me to clinic, which was just a 30-min drive away. My surgeon had over 20 years of experience. After spending an hour with him, I felt like I was in very good hands. My pre-operation tests were over in just 30 mins. Next day I had my surgery, which didn’t take more than 2 hours.

The surgery went smoothly and I spent a day in the hospital under observation. The support staff was very caring and I didn’t feel like I was alone in a strange country. The rest of the recovery I completed in a nearby resort. The room was spacious and the food was great.

All in all, I had a very good experience. I just wish I had known that October is a wet season in Santo Domingo. Because of super-high humidity, the weather was little uncomfortable. Other than this, everything was perfect.

My story goes back to my early 20s, when a bunch of bad stuff happened (don’t ask) and I got into a deep depression. A year later, I was clinically obese. After a few years and regular counseling, my depression got completely treated. However, I was still obese. So I decided to bite the bullet and hit the gym hard.

Initially I lost a lot of weight, but then I hit the dreaded plateau. No matter how I hard I tried I could no longer lose weight, especially the fat around the belly.

So I started looking at surgery. But I soon realized that the weight loss surgery here in the US is really, really expensive. I was on the verge of giving up when I came to know about Gosculptura from a friend. After a quick phone call, I realized that I can get my surgery done for a lot less in another country.

I chose Argentina for my procedure. The people at Gosculptura were really accommodating. I didn’t have anyone to come with me for the whole process, but the person in charge of handling my transport and other details in Argentina was really helpful. He really did go out of his way to make things more comfortable for me.

Long noses run on my mother’s side. My twin sister and I both had long noses. While my sister got hers corrected as soon as she reached twenty, I waited until last year. Because I was dead scared of having anesthesia. I am getting married next year so in February I finally decided that I will go ahead with it.

My sister had gone to Costa Rica and she had used Gosculptura. Her result and experience were positive, so I too decided to go to the same clinic. And of course I also used Gosculptura.

I met my surgeon a day before the surgery. He was aware of my fear and so he called the clinic’s anasthesiast Kristin. She spend whole one hour with me and explained me everything.

My surgery went well and I spent one night in the clinic. The support medical staff was very understanding and professional. However, the support staff spoke little English. But as it was only one day it didn’t matter.

My surgery went well. I also recovered quite fast. After one week the cast was removed. We boarded a flight back home after a week. My surgeon had recommended spraying the nose with Afrin 30 mins before takeoff and landing. I did that and faced no problem at all.

It has been slightly over 3 months since the procedure and scars have healed completely.
