Surgery yesterday - body lift, thigh lift, arm lift, flankplasty, breast lift

After my rough day/night with the delayed wound healing after my brachioplasty the other night, I decided to go out this weekend to buy a pair of pants that actually fit so I can see my new slim body and really cheer myself up. It worked!

Here is a pic of me in the sweater dress size XS and leggings size S that I bought at Loft over the weekend.

I was tempted to buy the size 4 jeans that looked so good, too, but who knows if they'll fit in a few months. I am only approaching 6 weeks post op and when I had my first surgery, a tummy tuck, my body changed drastically at 3.5 months postop and all of the new clothes I bought no longer fit. Such a waste of money! At least the leggings and sweater dress will fit no matter how my figure changes.

A size 4?!?!? I cannot believe it. They were tight in the waist but fit just right in my new slim thighs and little ass. I am wondering if I will be a 4 when the swelling goes down???

You look gorgeous sweetie, a tiny little thing.  I am so happy for you, you don't look swollen, just smokin hot!

Your legs look terrific, I still have fat knees, that part will never get fixed so it is the bain of my existance.  You really look amazing, I am so happy for you, I hope your arms heal soon so you can fully enjoy your new body and not have to be limited in motion.  It is so exciting seeing you transform, I feel like I am along for the virtual ride.  If I fell into a pot of money I would get everything nipped and tucked that hasn't already been fixed.  Now where is that damn rainbow.  lol

Thank you for taking this journey with me!!! You are one of three people in this community that have really been there for me through this. I love all of you!!!

My knees have some fatty deposits (at least that is what I'd call them). It may be swelling but if not I will ask Dr. C if he can lipo or excise this. My right leg is doing far better with the limited range of motion... it has pretty much returned to normal, just a little more improvement to go. My thighs are swollen now and I hope that they return to exactly as they looked after surgery. I still love them but they were even nicer before. Dr. C said I would have some loosening but that they would pretty much look like they did after surgery.

Plastic surgery can be a money pit if we want to keep going in and revising our bodies!!! At first I just had the TT and that was cheap comparatively. But then I wanted everything else to look as good as my tummy. That is not cheap by any means. A friend of mine who had her upper/lower body lift with Dr. C a week after me has now noticed that her thighs need work.

Six weeks post op and I have the green light from Dr. Capella for vigorous exercise (except repetitive lifting of my arms above my head owing to the axilla healing). So I found a gym downtown on the IUPUI campus and started a 2-week trial membership today. I did not have the best bod in the place (close though, LOL) but I was the best dressed in my FILA size XS leggings and S shirt -- so happy!!!

Dr. Capella and I had to reschedule my 6-week post op for next Wednesday. I'll keep everyone posted!

Congrats!  You look so good.  I can't say I like the exercise clothes as that is not my thing and I find them all unappealing but you go girl!  I have been riding my stantionary bike thing, the recumbant bike (spelling) because it keeps me warm. lol lol  And I do wear gym shorts, but they belong to my boyfriend and fall off if I don't pull the strings tight.  lol

LOL! Thanks. I have to dress nicely in order to workout. It is part of how I motivate myself.

I have a great surgeon in Dr. Capella. Never could I have done this with anyone else. I was petrified but I always knew that I was safe with him.
