Yeah! You're after!
Why didn't you ask your GP for birth control pills to regulate your periods.
When I had my Ring WLS back in 1992, open procedure I got my period the day after. Difficult to change a tampon attached to an IV pole!

As for me, I still am awaiting HMO approval for my dog-ears of the breast. Countdown...I have already done my blood tests. Still heed to do chest X-ray and EKG. Will be Day Surgery with local anesthetic but in a hospital so these tests are their protocol.
Smooth healing.

My surgery was done in a hospital, too, so I know all about the tests they require. My stupid PCP's practice sent over my entire medical record to my surgeon. It had some extremely personal information in it and now everyone at Dr. Capella's practice and the nurses and anesthesiologist know about it.

It is not easy to change a tampon with a catheter in and your arms all cut and bandaged. The nurse did the first one. Now I think all my dignity has been removed.

Do you have a date yet for your dog ears.

I've had a date for 22 October since July.
When I posted on RealSelf about the dog-ears the doctors there said they would not ask for all these tests. But this is protocol for an in-hospital procedure.

I had one Bariatric surgery where I had a zonda up my nose and and a bag as well as an IV pole and when I had my hysterectomy I had a catheter for three days and an IV pole.

PS I do not want to put those hormones into my body. I think you have to stop birth control pills before surgery anyway. My ObGyn says I have cysts that need to be removed.

My date being in October is close to when yours was.
Birth control is sometimes allowed even before surgery but I guess every surgeon has his protocol. It is the pits to have your period when in hospital. I'm glad I don't have my period anymore and due to being overweight I did not not ever take hormone therapy.
I am happily envious of you being able to have your wanted/needed plastics.

Awww, thanks. I am so glad that I finally went through with this - and so glad that Dr. Capella supported me when I wanted to back out. He did a really awesome job. I saw my body when he removed the bandages and my arms and thighs are so small! My whole body is tight and smooth. I keep rubbing my hands over my ass - it feels like it did when I was a teenager! My boobs are about a B cup so I will be doing implants.
