Anyone get denied by Ins for TT and then re-submit (fight it) and get them to pay?

I've got rashes but they are minimal.  The doc took great pics & documented my rashes but the ins denied it.

I'd like to see if I can fight it but want to find out if that happens very often.

Yes, i did back in 2010. I was denied by United Healthcare, then I appeal and they approved me.

I saw chiropractor for 5 month for back pain , I did not document any rushes. I lost more then 100 lb with DS surgery.

I think it really depends on why it was denied.  Is your panni not bad enough?  would they have approved a Panni removal vs a Tummy tuck?  Did it not hang low enough or were the rashes not bad enough.  Find out why and then see if you can work with that.  I was denied because my insurance has a full exclusion of all plastics post massive weight loss.  No way to fight that.
