I think I may have a insicional hernia.  I havd a fluer de lis in Feb of this year and just lately I have a pain near my new belly buttom that runs down the lenght of my scar about 2 inches.  Its right next to the scar and its a sharp sticky feeling that hurts when I move or lift, strain to use the bathroom.  it just hurts.  I plan on calling my surgeon in the morning but if any one know what this could be could you let me know it would ease my mind alot tonnight.  Thanks for any intfo you can give me.

thanks

Sounds to me also like a hernia. Ask your GP to examine you and send you for US soft tissue. If it is a hernia it's repair can be done w/o compromising your plastics.

Doctor says its not a hernia.  It has something to do with an internal sucture rejection.  and that we have to wait 6 to 8 weeks to see if corrects itself.  If it doesn't he will then do surgury to correct it.  I see him the 4 of Nov I will bring it up to him then if it is not better.  It feels really weird.  It feels like a sticky feeling inside that hurts when ever I move or strain.  I am fine as long as I don't move a all.  He suggested putting heat on it for pain control.  Said there is nothing he can give me for the pain to just deal with it and it will get better.  I am hoping the next 6 to 8 weeks go by fast.

Maybe homeopathic remedy for the discomfort/pain...
Keep on top of your doc if you continue to feel the weirdness.
Some of us have a lower threshold on pain.

The pain has gotten much worse.  Went to ER yesterday and saw my doctor today.  Having to make up my mind now if I want surgery or not to fix the problem.  Its very complicated.
