Looking at the pre-op picture you have posted on your profile, I assume it still looks similar? It's hard to visualize what you are talking about without a picture.

Did you research plastic surgeons before choosing yours?? There seems to be a wide range of results based upon the skill of the surgeon. I know my surgeon is one of the best in the country and my stomach looks amazing even after losing 200 pounds.

Yes I forgotten I had posted that photo of myself in the blue shirt! It is slightly similar, but it is more toward the middle now and longer instead of going across. I am hoping that it is just swelling and fluid since I have not stood up fully straight yet. My surgeon was Dean DeRoberts and he is well known in our area for being one of the best surgeons. He has performed plastics on a number of wls patients. I shouldn't be worried or even complaining because I am only 2 days post op and this is still better than what I was dealing with before. Congrats on your weight loss!

Thanks. I saw your pictures. It's hard to tell much while you are sitting, but I do question the skill of your surgeon. Here is a link to a picture of me pre-op, 4 days post-op, and 4 weeks post-op.

I had a Fleur Di Lis Tummy tuck on 9/11/13, I was flat as can be afterwards and this was after 164 lb weight loss.  That's hip to hip and then up the middle to just under the breast.  Were you cut up the middle?  My PS told me I wouldn't be happy with the regular tummy tuck because all of the fat that I would have remaining on my upper belly.  He suggested the Fleur di lis.  He removed skin and fat up the middle and pulled it all tight.  He said if I didn't have that done, I would still have rolls of fat there.

Not everyone comes out flat as a board right after surgery. In fact, I've read a lot more post about being swollen and not flat for the first few weeks or months than posts from those very few who say that they were flat. So don't be alarmed just yet. Give it some time. I was not happy with my results until 3 months after my TT. Now I'm thrilled with my results.
