So many questions! (Sauceda vs local doc)( twilight vs general)(lift w/out implants?)

If you really want to "see" his current work you need to check his FB page (his website is not the best source).  The fans post lots of after pics - and these are un-edited not "selected" pics like u see on peoples websites.  I met Sauceda in person in Orlando and was super impressed with the safety and the work and his integrity.  If I only had (for example) 18k to spend and wanted to get "everything" i would not hesitate to go to him.  Check out his FB page - these women love him!  He is the only PS i know that has a fan driven FB page - that speaks volumes.  I may end up going a different direction than Sauceda, but I would trust him completely on safety and results.

Body By Sauceda - it's a closed group.  There are lots of photos in his group area here.  http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/Dr_Sauceda_Patients/discussion  Most have passwords, but if you post to a thread about PS and tell a little about yourself, most will ask for a friend request, then send you the password to view their photos.  Some photos on FB are removed and even being a closed group, some pics may get out and posted.  OH is much safer for your nekkid pics.

My scars are thin and almost invisible, I don't regret going to Mexico and Dr Sauceda.  Does he promise you a model body after PS, nope.  I just wanted to look normal w/o clothes and I look great.  Years and weight loss do alter how your results will be.

Having the epidural and twilight sedation was wonderful for me.  No, I didn't wake up and I also wasn't sick for a week after as I am with a general. 

I had 2 surgeries before having my gall bladder out and then my gastric sleeve. They had trouble getting me to wake up after the sleeve. I'm not so crazy about general anesthesia.

I have been to Dr. Sauceda's O.R. 3 times.  I am returning in February for my 4th time.  I've had 8 procedures done and I have not one regret!  The man has integrity, great bedside manner and his aftercare is awesome.   He does use an epidural and twilight sleep.  It was wonderful.  You wake up after surgery as if you were just sleeping.  No nausea, no vomiting.  I just felt rested.  His procedures are also almost pain free.  I had my TT and Brachioplasty, stayed in the clinic for a day after surgery and never took another pain med.  I didn't need it. 

After surgery his RN will come to the hotel and help you shower every morning and then he comes every evening.  Where in the US will get your service like that?  You won't.  I would have had my LBL outpatient for 3 x the charge and then placed in my daughter's car and sent home on my own.  Dr S's work is amazing.  I once weighed 488 lbs.   My body is a wreck and he's done wonderful work.  The pictures on his website really are not a good depiction of his work.  There are over 900 members on his OH forum and many many before and afters for anyone to see.

Dr. Sauceda is the only plastic surgeon I would allow to work on me.  Mexico or not, the clinic is spotless.  Much cleaner than many US facilities.
