4 days post op TT - dented

My abdomen has dents in it LOL  is this normal.  I see the surgeon on Friday for my 1 wk post op visit, just want some feedback.

Mine either. To flatten the area around and above my navel, my navel was repositioned. My VSG scars that were 4 inches above my navel are now 1 inch below my navel.

 VSG on 4-2-12    HW: 335    CW: 126    Height: 5 ft 6.5 in   

 There is no finish line!

I'd definitely ask the PS about it! It almost looks as if you weren't pulled tight enough. Please keep us updated.

I just went to look at your pics on your profile. It looks like you had less skin than I did so I do not know why you were not pulled very tight. You can look at my pics if you want. I have one from 3 or 4 days out.

I had a lot of excess in my abdo and was pulled tight as a board with a tummy tuck. Who is your plastic surgeon?

I saw Dr today.  He said the dents are internal stitches he uses to pull the skin close to the muscle, as they dissolve, the skin will smooth out.  He does this so there is no room for the fluid to accumulate thus he doesn't use drains which he tries to avoid to minimize swelling, infection, recovery time and pain.
