Folks looking for feedback on PS for men
Hi JM, I just now saw your post. How are you doing with your results and your recovery. Thank you so very much for reading my article and I am very glad that it helped you. I hope that you get everything that you want from the surgery! Did you learn anything about the insurance coverage for complications? Thank you, MBL

Hi MBL,
I was trying to switch over to PM's, but apparently I am having problems sending you one. Recovery is going well. I was slightly anemic after that repair and could have had an infusion or add more iron pills into the mix. I opted to to take Feosol. I am feeling much better.
I forgot to ask about the insurance, and probably will forget again when the next set of drains come out, but I will try to remember.
I am just waiting for the swelling to go down now to see how it really turned out.

What did it look like? Do you know how he could tell the difference between a hematoma and seroma -- was it by looking at it or was there some sort of diagnostic done? Thanks and glad that you are feeling better! I am a little more than a week away from my surgery! Please keep your fingers crossed for me!
I could not tell what it looked like. My skin all looked the same to me and I was also a little out of it. He just came in and looked at everything and did more of a physical inspection, pressing on the area and said this was not normal. It was more firm than the other areas. I suppose that could be the difference, I assume that a seroma might be more squishy and the hematoma was more firm.
Good luck, my fingers are crossed.
Hey Chrispy, just a follow up to say that I too am seriously considering this but probably late 2014 at the earliest or 2015. Basically trying to get the bills out of the way, build our new house and THEN.. the wife gets to go first. Then me next.
We had a local surgeon come give a presentation at our support group and I was pretty impressed with the before/after pics for a guy that his body was VERY similar in look to my own! (And FLAT as heck after, wowsers)
If my wife was not doing this, I probably would not bother but since she has had RNY, we are basically turning into the "new you" for the second half of our lives!
Cost is pretty "reasonable" in that the 360 is about 6-8k and another 3-4k for the second procedure to get rid of my moobs! So I am budgeting 10-12k all told.
Arms, I am going to do a dedicated plan on working my upper body after the marathon, LOTS of body weight conditioning (push ups, push downs, pull ups, core work)
