Why did you have stitches in your nipple? I am wondering if I will have this with my breast lift. I know that you did not have a lift, but wondering what the stitches were for. Thanks!

As I told you on RealSelf, the vids were very helpful to me. You've got guts to show your juicy bits on the net.

Thanks!!!

I would guess you would have a stitch because that is how he puts the implants in. It is in lower crease/edge on the nipple on both nipples. I don't think there will be a scar.

With you having a lift I'd guess you'd have more scars/ incision but I'd assume they wouldn't be removable like mine were, I guess they would be dissolvable. I'd ask Dr. capella

Thank you!

OK, I don't think I will have the stitch this time around because I am not getting the implants until my final surgery. Honestly that looked creepy in the vid but I am glad you said it looked worse than it felt.

Yes, my incisions will be pretty intense, going from the elbow through the arm, through the flanks, and under each breast all the way, then the lollipop incision that goes up the breast and around the areola. Let me tell you, it took me many conversations with Dr. Capella to agree to that. But it is the only way that I will get the results that I want... no sense doing something half way! Plus I was reassured by several patients that the scars fade quite nicely. Dr. C said they eventually would look like the thin white scars of my lap RNY and those are very light.

I think I read somewhere that you are considering a thigh lift with him. If so, that would be the perfect time to revise your LBL... it would cost hardly anything since you'll already be under. The first hour of the OR is EXTREMELY expensive and subsequent hours are cheap.

Oh honey trust me I agree with you 100%! I would trade skin for scars ALL day long lol so much easier to hide and it gives me a chance of passing as a "normal" person. My lbl scar is not bad at all and from what I have seen Dr. C scars are very small and faint. I am thinking about getting my back done he says thats the only way to get all the skin and fat off. I'm still unsure of that.

My inner thighs are a def thou. I'm thinking of getting my butt done (bigger, fuller, higher) but unsure of how yet. I also want a neck lift with lipo. I will probably get it all done at the same time which is scary to me but it is soooo much cheaper. It is still a lot of money... I'm young, not rich so I am saving again. I also have a care credit account but It's maxed a 6k now lol

Where would he cut you on your back? Across your bra line? Your LBL should have resolved a lot of that excess skin on your back. As for your neck, are you not satisfied with the lipo he did?

Getting it all done at once is very doable. As far as your ass, don't do implants or auto-augmentation. You probably don't even have enough fat left on your body to do it. You need 800cc in each cheek. At the recent ASPS medical meeting there was a lot of discussion around auto augmentation not being successful and the docs who were doing it are backing off.  Dr. Capella told me he always knew this and that is why he did not get involved in doing that procedure.

Dr. Capella has done some really nice asses. But they are not on his website. It depends on your shape and fat distribution but he is able to move it around -- the blood supply has to remain in tact. My GF says we have square old ladies ass. Plus I have cellulite and my ass comes to a point at the bottom -- my daughter calls this my Polish ass. I've got nice projection but would like a little more, and I definitely want a nicely shaped butt and not a square one. I told him I don't want a JLo ass and I don't want a flat ass. He assured me that he would make it pretty, and would be able to make it more shapely, get rid of my pointy ass and cellulite.

Whereas some doctors simply remove the excess skin and leave women with tree trunk bodies, he is passionate about taking gobs of fat and sculpting into something lovely. I am a creative person so I totally get that passion... I always love to look at my creations, to make something form nothing, or to take something crummy and redesign it into something good. Of course there are limits to what can be achieved as some people are just so deflated. From what I have seen of you, you have good skin tone, so I think you could get very nice results.

I will post my before and afters in my album here on OH but that won't be until 3-6-mos after my surgery. I am not sure when I will go back to see him. Three-months puts me into January. Who the heck wants to go to NJ in January?!?! I think I will wait.

Yes the bra line.... I know thats what i thought but a have like fat/skin on my mid to upper back and sides, I can grab it with my hands pretty good. He got as much as he could with my arms/flanks but was honest and said he would not be able to get all of it.  He did not end up doing the lipo.... he said I was not a good candidate for it (I have him on tape I will post a vid soon I think its awesome he was honest and didn't just take my money!! He said I'd look great with the lift and lipo so I need to do that... I hate the profile of my face.

Yeah I have heard bad things about implants and auto-augmentation. So he would just suck fat out and put it in my butt I guess? lol I would like to see pics but like you said he has none up. I have seen great results on realself. So he is doing your butt? I feel like mine just sits low and is flat at the top because of my lbl. I hear you cannot sit on your butt after to keep the fat alive and in the right spot. My neck surgeyr I hope will be thighs (terrified!) butt, and neck.

Another question for you... I think insurance will pay for my thighs and I know Dr. capella does not submit but I think he does the whole repay.pay back thing? idk I could be wrong. Do you know anything about this?

I can't wait to see your pics!

Dr. Capella does turn away patients that will not benefit from the procedure. In the interview you can read about him turning away a woman who wanted her breasts lifted. He said something along the lines of her wanted to increase the margin between how a person looks and how they will look after the body contouring and that he wanted the maximum opportunity to make people happy. I like that.

UGH I hate hate hate the profile of my face, well, actually I am rather dissatisfied with my face because there is too much fat and jowling. It and my thighs are what bothered me most (after my tummy/mons). I am going to get a face and neck lift.

No. Sucking fat out and putting it into your butt is auto augmentation. He removes and/or moves fat around keeping the blood supply in tact. That is one of the reasons auto augmentation does not work. Alot of the fat dies. The auto augmentation only lasts a max of 8-years according to what I've read. Then I think it sags. Can you image these gals with those ridiculous BBL having taht humongous droopy ass in 8-yrs?

Yes. He is doing my entire body head to toe. I don't need that cut along the bra line though.

If you have documented rashes on your thighs then insurance might pay. Terry does something with submitting a pre-auth for you. You pay Dr. Capella in full. Then she will reimburse you whatever the insurance pays. I am not clear on the process but it works something like that.

Was your LBL covered?

I am going to submit mine after the fact and see if I can get anything back. I doubt it but many people who though theirs would not get approved DID get the approval.
