It's good to read you all doing so well after TT and BA!

When I spoke with my PS she told me that I would go home in a binder but that I would need to purchase compression wear. She said it should fit me tight. Is that tight as in now or tight on the size I think I will be? Also, I need to buy a sports bra to sleep in...do you all have any recommendations besides snapping in the front? what about cup size? I'm going up a few cup sizes but I have no idea exactly how big my cup size will be.

Any suggestions on compression wear or bras will help me immensely! Sorry I couldn't respond to you all individually but I was out of town.

As far as the compression garment, I would say it needs to be snug on your new size.  The goal is to have it help with keeping the swelling down so you want it to be snug.  I had an old set from my initial thigh lift that were really too big once things started to settle down.  After the first week, they weren't really doig the job and I kept finding myself pulling them up.  Once I ordered the smaller size, it fit like a glove and did the job that it needed to do.  And no more pulling it up all day.

Can't recommend a sports bra but you should ask the doc what size you will wind up being.  I know when I had my breast reconstruction, the doc asked what size cup I wanted to be - and thats the size bra that I bought.

Good luck.

Do you happen to remember what company you ordered your compression garment from or the style? I'm trying to decide which one to buy. I hate to ask but isn't it hard to pull the thing down to go to the bathroom? The ones I saw at Walmart have an open crouch but it looks awful small.

I was told to use the marena group. I believe it was a style lag which is just a high rise girdle. The crotch has hooks and eyes which were fairly easy to deal with. Getting into it was a challenge - had to have hubby help me the first week or so. After that I was able to do it on my own. I went right from a stage one garment to spanx like garments.

Sorry style 'lga' - autocorrect can be tough.
