HEAVY TIGHTNESS AFTER TUMMY TUCK

Hi all, just had a hernia repair with tummy tuck and while I'm experiencing some pain it's the heavy tightness that I'm concerned about.  It kinda feels like I have a tight hernia belt on when I don't.  Does anyone know if this is normal and if it goes away?   thanks!

Normal.  It gets better.  But I still feel like I'm wearing a girdle some days, and I'm 7 months out from a lower body lift.  I don't know if it ever completely goes away.

I just posted. I feel a heaviness that I hate, it feels like weighing me down, and it is awful. I sure hope it is not forever or even as long as 7 months. I am 3 monts. Now and sick of this tight, heavy feeling. It makes me feel fat again, like everything is hard to move again, like when obese.
