Arm lift with Dr. Capella

If you received an arm lift from Dr. Capella can you please comment on your experience.  Specifically:

1.  Where did he place the incision?  Inside the arm or along the backside

2.  Did you combine the arm lift with any type of BL/BA?

3.  Did he remove excess skin in front of and behind the armpit?

Thanks!

He placed the incisions along the back side so unless you are holding your arms straight up in the air you can't see them and even then the scars are already (maybe they get darker?) light pink/white.

I had a breastlift, lbl, and arm lift together

Yes, I dont know if it's because I had it combined with the breast but i have an incision under the breast that extends under my arms along my ribcage and it removed all the extra skin. I have not a bit of extra skin on the back or front anymore.

1.I believe mine are on the Inside. Many people don't notice my scars unless I lift my arms.

2 I had the full body lift. He told me he doesn't do ba with skin tightening surgery.

3. Yes all of my excess skin was removed.

6months later I still feel snug but with time things are starting to relax.

I just had my consult with him this week. I will be having the arms, flanks, breast lift, medial thighs, revision to my TT making it into an LBL. I had him pull my skin to show me how it would look and we discussed scar placement in depth. As the others have said, he places the incision in the arm so it is barely noticeable. The scars fade over time he said to look like the thin white scar I have from my laparoscopic RNY. I was very pleased to hear that.

He is known for his great body work and has probably the largest collection of arm and thigh lifts on MWL patients. I find him to be a brilliant surgeon and compassionate doctor.

I wonder If we ran into each other because I was also at his office last week. Dr. Capella does yank hard on the body when hes showing what he will work on. lol but It is definitely worth it.

So happy you asked this! I am getting my boobs, some lipo of my chin/neck, and a extended arm lift (includes flankplasty) tomorrow (8/29) by Dr. Capella... so this is a huge help to me! Thanks for posting!

I will let you know how it goes in interested I have a youtube channel that talks about my consult with him, i'm uploading a interview I did with him, and will be showing the results in a few days (after surgery)
