Has anyone lost all of their weight, completed all plastics, only to gain it all back again?

Did this happen to you?? (I see you are having a revision in September). Yes, I have heard of people who lost it all, tucked it all, and gained it all back. Most of them do not participate on the forums anymore.

I like to think I will remain diligent and keep my weight off, but I know it COULD happen.

Having a caring buddy is a great way to stay on the right track! I went from 162 sz 8 to 300 sz 24.. And not one person said, hey..what's going on!!!

Yes, it happened to me, I never thought it would! I did a lot of hard work, and spent a lot of money to make it the way I wanted it. Life took some dramatic changes, deep depression set in, and it felt like overnight, I woke up right where I started! It's been a nightmare, and I've fraught to get back to an opportunity to get my life back. I'm proof that it can happen, and I tell everyone that I can, to stay connected with people that care enough to try and catch you when you fall! Stay going to support meetings no matter what, no one understands your struggle more than those that have been there!

Nest month I'm having a revision from RNY to DS with Dr. Ara Keshishian. I'm praying that all will be well, and that I can get back on track!

I am really sorry that this happened to you. It is scary to think it really can happen so easily. I wish you life long success with your revision. And thanks for sharing your story. I can imagine how hard it is to be this honest and open. Good luck!

Thank you! I feel a lot of humiliation, embarrassment, and shame! The stares and comments behind my back are hard to deal with, but I have to share..I don't want anyone else to go through what I have!
