Exercise after PS

I am 4 weeks out today from LBL. I have recovered very well and went back to work Monday. I feel great but get really tired. PS told me to expect to be tired going back to work after 3 weeks. My question is about getting back into exercise. I'd really like to be doing something. I know I can't lift weights yet but what about swimming? When can you swim or take baths? I would restart my walking regimen but I've just been somtired after work, I've waited. How did you get back into an exercise routine and when?

Follow your surgeon's advice to the letter on this one. He/she alone will know when the time is right to get back to exercising.  Also, they will tell you what kind of exercise and how much.  You are at the finish line of your fabulous journey, hang in there!

Swimming is easy on the joints, great exercise and fun to boot!  However, when it comes to open or healing wounds, it is a very bad idea to swim.  There can be bacteria in the water that can slow or harm your incisions, so be sure to get cleared from your doctor before swimming.  Congrats on your surgery!!
