Points-of-view needed on my staging, from those who've been through it - Thanks!

Hi everyone!

As most of you know I have been delighted, thrilled, overjoyed with my tummy tuck results. So much so that I now want to complete the transformation (my total body and face).

I asked Dr. Capella to give me a few scenarios to choose from as far as staging my surgeries. It costs the same, either way we "slice it." Pun intended. So the question really is around recovery and I'd love to hear from those of you who've been through it. What is your perspective on the following scenarios? I am trying to decide which way to go.

Scenario 1 -

First surgery: Complete LBL (from the TT), flankplasty, arms, breast lift, inner thigh lift

Second surgery: breast implants and facelift

Scenario 2 - (this is his least favorite of the two)

First surgery: Complete LBL (from the TT), flankplasty, arms, breast lift

Second surgery: inner thigh lift, breast implants and facelift

I have not firmly made up my mind about having him do the facelift but I am considering it. I simply cannot find anyone who blows me away with their facelifts/necklifts on massive weight loss patients (although Dr. Sauceda did a great job on Chris).

Scenario 2, because it doesn't involve the legs and the arm healing at the same time.  I think either way is a lot of surgery at the same time!  How many hours does he anticipate you'll be under?

Scenario 1 - first surgery 6 hours, 2nd surgery 4 hours

Scenario 2 - each surgery 5 hours

I have my concerns about either scenario. I do not like doing the thighs with the upper body. I feel that I will be incapacitated. I do not like doing the thighs with the face. I feel like the pain will be torture. I could do the facelift as a separate surgery at another time or with another surgeon but I do not think I have the money to do that. I am at the very top of my budget. That said, I think there is a good chance that I will need a revision to some aspect of my surgery, so I may end up going in a third time anyway. If so, that could be a good time to do the face. Of course, all these surgeries mean a lot of lost time of productivity, from work from pleasure, from enjoying a normal life. So, in that regard, getting them over and done with as soon as possible is desirable.

It would be so much easier for me to get to his NYC office rather than Ramsey. I am seeing him on the 15th in NJ because he is only in NYC once a month. Geez, you and I keep missing each other! How are your arms?
