Have you lost more weight since plastics?

My surgeon took off 17 lbs. of skin, but I'm down a total of 26 lbs. I'm 8 weeks out.

I'm guessing it's just surgery metabolism--I'm not 100% healed yet. I just hope the scale doesn't start going UP again.

I had tummy tuck in September 2010. PS removed 13 lb skin and fat, I lost 17 lb with that.

Then I had revision for seroma surgery, mons lift and more skin removal on September 2011, lost 5 lb.

With my breast reduction on January 2012 I lost 5 lb more and with my arm lift April 2013 i lost 3 lb. Nothing came back so far.

My surgeon removed 6lbs of skin/fat with my TT. I am down ~20lbs at 3-mos post op. I am eating less because the plication of my stomach muscles make me feel how full I am much faster than when me muscles were distended. I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THAT!!!!!! And yes, I worry that I will see the scale start going up again. I will talk to my surgeon about it when I next see him.

Has anyone experienced bounce back weight?

Three weeks post TT here, and I've lost about seven pounds, and I am seven years post-DS.    I too have noticed a big increase in my restriction again, which I REALLY hope remains.

I wonder if our being so far out from our WLS makes a difference. I am 10 yrs out. Over time we can eat more and more. So I won't if the muscle plicarion gives us a renewed sense of restriction like the original WLS did... Well maybe not exactly like that, but along those lines. My weight loss seems to have stabilized at this point.

Likewise.  I am also really watching my carb intake again, because I hate the way carb bloat makes me feel with my new tummy.  It's funny, I was just thinking of you tonight.  DH and I went out tonight to a local venue to see a well-known musician play.  I am 3.2 weeks out.  I decided it would be so fun to show off my new tummy in a snug fitting shirt and left my binder at home.  I had shopped, walked, cooked dinner, etc, during the day.  I figured what harm would it be to go without a binder....I was only sitting there for a couple of hours watchIng some music, right?  BIG FREAKING MISTAKE!!   I am awake, in misery right now!  Holy cats!  I am a dummy!
