Brachioplasty covered by insurance?
Has anyone ever had a brachioplasty (arm lift) covered by insurance? My policy that I currently hold says it will only cover a panniculectomy, but I am having them submti for full abdominoplasty. I was just curious if brachioplastys were ever covered as well if you document rashes etc, or if it's basically a waste of time?
I live in Michigan, and another DS'er told me that her insurance, BC/BS, is covering her arms. I have MESSA BC/BS, so I'm waiting to see how this all pans out for her.

I still need to do my thighs and arms. They will be self pay. It's just a matter of convincing hubby....I'm literally in tears today over my arms. I'm wearing a new jacket over a sleeveless dress and its cutting off my circulation up at the top where my wings are. It's incredibly upsetting to me today, for some reason.
